Wow it seems like it has been forever since I last blogged. It has been way too hot to cook around here. I miss freshly baked cookies and cupcakes but cannot bear to turn the oven on most days. I made a recipe from the Vegan with a Vengeance cookbook. This is such comfort food. A nice rich miso gravy with big chunks of tofu, potatoes, mushrooms and I added carrots and fresh shelled peas. It was nice because I could finish it off in the slow cooker and did not have to heat up the whole house.Friday, August 8, 2008
